We'll be at DL on the nights of June 3 & 4, the park is open until 11:00pm. We've never been to DL or DW when the parks are open that late. I'm curious if the bulk of visitors stay that late until closing or if the crowds significantly thin out. Please share your experience.

We are always early arrivers and are in line well before the park opens, but the latest we've ever been at the park is for a 9:00pm close. This will be a new experience for us, and we're looking forward to it!

Thanks for sharing!

Yep, the crowds will thin out as the evening progresses with many rides having short lines after 9-10PM.

It is sooo great being in DL during those last few hours. The crowds and lines not only thin out, but you get a different perspective of the park as well. Plus it feels good to know that you took advantage of every last magical minute!:thumbsup2

yes the parks clear out. last time we where there we walked onto many big rides with like a 5 minute wait time like big thunder, indiana jones, matterhorn, autotopia and space mountain. and remember that if you are in line at closing and it's an hour wait you still we get on:banana:

I love being the parks late, it is so pretty!! And yes, the lines do seem to go down.....

my favorite time, we usually get in line for Indy 15 minutes prior to close.

We went on Splash Mountain 4 times in a row right after Fantasmic started. In fact, there was NO line, they were sending out boats empty. It was awesome.

DL and MK at night are awesome. The parks look great with all the creative lighting and so many less kids and strollers (no offense) and many of the best rides have lines that are just a few minutes.

The last hour is the best and if you are smart and dilligent you can hit 3 or 4 or 5 of the better rides in that timeframe. We do it all the time. My girl used to think I was being crazy but now she realizes if we just walk a little faster and plan out the logistics we can get tons done in that 60+ minutes.

Seriously just planning to be at the end of the line for the last ride in that hour is what we do as you just need to be in line by closing time as stated previously.

We're going tonight but we won't even enter the parks until 7PMish. I love midnight closing nights! During the week the 8PM closing time just blows! We would have gone this week but that early closing time (6PM at CA) it is not worth it plus, the sun is just setting and I often prefer the parks at night.

I love the WDW parks at night too!
