Where to eat? We arent getting to MCO until 11 pm. :scared1:We are staying at POP. Not sure what time the eatery is open until.

Another idea is we may change our room reservation to AKL, so if we did that we can still get room service?

But will there be anything else open that late? Restaurants?

TIA

I am not sure anything will be open when you get to the resort. one thought would be is to see if anything is open at mco

By the time you get to your resort (Pop or AKL) it will be past midnight. No food. Late night at Kidani, guest was offered the menu from a local pizza place that delivers.

Eat at MCO if something is still open. I ate my food from the MCO food court while waiting at baggage claim. You do know that Magical Express will not transport your luggage late night, right?

Or, eat before you get on the plane that takes you to MCO. Would that be at a "normal" mealtime?

Have a great trip!

If you do stay at AKL the room service is 24 hours. We got to room at 11pm and had late nigth snack (my son wanted to have cheeseburger, I had cheese plate and my Husband had hummus....he loved it and he orders almost ever night)

Since we are not sure about whether or not we are changing resorts yet you are probably right about eating at MCO.:sad1: But the only thing about eating right before the flight is that is not good for me, as it gives my stomach ammunition. If you know what I mean. So I will be starving. I may have to bring some PBJ"s from home.

And Thank You for the reminder about having to pick up our luggage ourselves. I was wondering who was going to come knocking on our door at 3 am with suitcases. :rolleyes1

I believe your food choices will be very limited, if you have any, at MCO. At that time, I believe even all food court places are closed, or maybe it was midnight. Those PBJ sandwiches are looking better and better.

And, as others have said, don't forget your luggage. Good luck.

I just looked on Allearsnet and it says menus until midnight. Did I miss something?

The dolphin has a 24 hr food service called piccabu's. The food is really good there.

I would eat at MCO before getting on the bus. The food court and the restaurant choices there are not bad at all. We like Johnny River's sandwiches, but that's only by gates 100-129. There are quite a few grab 'n go options at the airport, which is what I would go with. (If you just want to go to baggage claim, you can always pick up grab 'n go stuff at the airport you are flying out of.)

Most of the food courts are open until midnight, but you're not getting to MCO until an hour before that - when you add in baggage claim and waiting for the bus AND travel time to your resort, it will be long past midnight when you arrive. You'll want to be able to get to your room and go to sleep so you can be in the parks the next day.

Disney transportation would be difficult, too, at that time of night.

I was just on another site and reading stories how people make changes to their flights and all especially when flying SW, as we are. I had never done this. But I decided to check SW and they had an earlier flight for the same amount! :banana:And not just earlier but it is Nonstop. :ssst: DD is going to be so happy!

Ok, so we only get there by about 2.5 hours earlier, but this is great for me. More food choices and Disney will get our luggage and we will be able to get DME! :hyper:

And I got a $$$ credit since we switched to a Nonstop flight.
