At the real popular places, has anyone here ever been 10-15 late ( or even 5) for your ADR and there are stand-by diners waiting and no later ADR slots avail? Do they try to accom you a little faster than if you had arrived with no ADR? If there's a sign that says ADRs only, what has been your experience?

We've only been late 1 time due to transportation issues and we were seated. I believe we waited about 15 min but that's seems to be what we normally wait.

We always seem to run late and we have never had a problem getting seated for our ADR's with the normal wait. We have arrived as much as 45 minutes late with no problems.

We were late for an ADR at Le Cellier last June due to transportation issues (we had planned an hour to get to Epcot from DTD and we were still late!). We were about 20 minutes late and we were turned away for our lunch time ADR. It was sad as we are Canadians and really wanted lunch there. We told them we would wait and they said they could not accommodate us at all that day. There were only 2 of us.......so you never know......but in the end it turned out great as we had a lovely lunch on the patio at Rose and Crown instead!

If that ever happens to you again, take the bus from Downtown Disney to the Beach Club, and then walk through the lobby to the back exit towards the lagoon. Take the walkway left to get into the International Gateway. It will put you at the merge between UK and France, a lot easier to get to your Epcot dining in World Showcase.

We've been late twice. Once, at 50's PTC, we were still able to be seated. And once, at Boma, we were turned away for being late.

1) Most eateries will hold an ADR for 15-minutes.
2) In really crowded times, do not look for allowances.
3) You go to the back-of-the-pack.
4) If, and when, something opens, you get a table.
