Another nod to Orbitz.

We had been trying for a Beach Club room only discount to no avail.

Finally went to Orbitz and got 6 nights lagoon view at BC for 2041.01 with tax included.

They had rooms at 30% off and I had a promo code for 15% with Orbitz.

We didn't really care if we got water view but the room was cheaper than Garden view???

Didn't purchase tickets yet just the room.

Appreciate the heads up about Orbitz...thanks!

What promo code did you use for Orbitz? Was it Review15? Can you use promo codes on places like Orbitz and Travelocity more than one booking?? If we want to book a trip for Oct and Nov for instance....

I didn't do anything special just entered our dates and specified WDW for hotel choice. The selection was all WDW hotels most had the 30% off rooms as at least one of their room choices.

I went back into Orbitz this morning but the room choices have narrowed to just two at BC and they are much higher than when I booked for our late October trip. The rooms now are up to $396. (This is before the 15% off with Orbitz).. but not too bad.

Most likely they ran through their quota of 30% off.

Hopefully WDW will release more rooms soon!

Nope. Dining plans are only available if you book through Disney.

Does anyone think Disney will release more rooms for the discount? Currently booked at BL for 4 days and SS for 4 days with no discount at the beginning of Nov. I was hoping to get a discount on 2 bed at SS or OKW because my parents are joining us. I know BL doesn't accept discount but looking at switching to CR or GF. The Poly sounds like it is quite a mess. We liked the idea of having the kitchen because my twin 8 year olds are the pickiest eaters in the world. But if we got a good price we could add the dining plan. My husband really wants to stay on the monorail for the first time. Good luck and happy planning

Nope. Dining plans are only available if you book through Disney.

I booked through a TA and was offered a dining plan. So, to clarify, while they may not be available through Orbitz you don't have to book directly with Disney to get them.

The limited availability is so frustrating! I'm trying to put myself in the mindset of a Disney marketer and I just don't get it. . . So many rooms were unavailable within days (maybe sooner) of the discount being announced. I was able to get it applied to 3 rooms at Pop Century 10/12-10/19, but there were NO rooms of any level at Grand Floridian or Contemporary for my parents - only at Poly, which they don't want because of the construction. I've been looking frequently and no change

It seems like a bad PR move to put a big offer on your splash page and then it's "just kidding! Practically nothing available at that price!" I guess if the general public doesn't know that the offer has only been up a few days, they might not get irritated and think they just missed out. . .

When I looked/called the day the discounts were released, there was nothing available at All Star Sports and no standards available at All Star Movies. Sure enough I look today and there's availability at both those resorts. I was able to call and get the discount applied. I would say it's definitely possible they released/will release more rooms.

I believe that is fall break for many folks. That, coupled with the fact the CR and GF are filling due to the construction messes at Poly and WL, is what is causing you to not find what you are looking for. I have got GF 11/30-12/8 with the RO discount, but I booked the first morning.

It also appears that they are not opening as much of their inventory to the promo either. As an example, we extended our upcoming BB Oct. stay by one night. Couldn't find anything I wanted with my current offer so I tried searching under the new fall promo & nothing but if I wanted to pay rack rate there was plenty of availability. Hoping they will release some of those rooms under the Oct. A/P discount.

Bay View rooms at the Contemporary are currently available for the Fall Discount.

I make my fast pass selections tonight and Annual Pass discounts might be out tomorrow. Will I lose my FP selections if I cancel my GP room to book the Annual Pass?

While they told us there was nothing available AT ALL for the fall discount at YC on the phone, we were able to book 4 rooms online with it (had to do each room separately, but worth it!)
