Looking at flights out of MIA (and FLL) and I don't see any decent departures. I'm not opposed to waiting all day at the airport, but I'd prefer not to. What should we do with our bags while waiting for the flight if we wanted to go do something to pass the time?

ETA: While googling, I found some museums that have bag storage, might try that. Still open to suggestions if you have other experiences. Thanks!

In the past, Disney has offered a debarkation day excursion in Miami. It includes the hop-on hop-off buses and transfers to the airport. You might also consider a one-day car rental.

I'll second the one day car rental. If you can pick up at the port/nearby and drop off at the airport it will make your life far easier! Also: You can store the bags in the car during the day to save costs there too.

I was looking at options when I thought our flight home for Miami was going to be pretty late. There are places where you can store your luggage for the day all over Miami. I also looked at some resort pass options where you could get a hotel room for the day (9 am-6 pm) so you’d have access to the room, pool, etc. There are also options where you could go to a hotel to use their pool and amenities for the day.

I'm from Albuquerque. We don't store things in cars.
