Late Check Question

Hi -
DW and I asked for a late check-out
yesterday (9/17) and were told that the
"policy" was no late check outs are allowed. We were looking for an extra
hour (11:00 v. 12:00). Ironically we were
able to get a late check out last December. We understand the extra time required to prepare the villas, however we
were in a standalone studio. First question, were we duped by this mystery
policy (ie. should we have asked to see it).
Second, has anyone ever had any luck with late check out? BTW, we were supposed to be at VB, which is why we had the later flight. We also had the parks to ourseves!! Thanks for any advice!

You were not duped, there is basically a "no late check-out" policy for DVC accomodations. This has been stated numerous times on these boards.

There is a written no late check out policy, you were just given an additional benefit in December that you should not have been given.
