If you get a breakfast buffet (like Crystal Palace) late in the morning, what happens when they switch for lunch?
If you have an 11am reservation, when they change at 11:30 can you still be eating? Or do you have to finish before the cutoff?

Anyone know? I'm just wondering if I make a late breakfast reservation if we'll have time to eat...
On the other hand, if you can keep eating...and they switch over to lunch...that could be better yet! We could hit the desserts...

Get out of my head. I was just about to post this same question - at the same place. You might want to change the title a little. Maybe ask the question flat out.

I know we did this one time in the past. I believe it was at the Hollywood and Vine Buffet at MGM (now DHS). We had an ADR for the last breakfast seating and started with breakfast. Looking at my itinerary, I actually have this listed as a "brunch". They were in the processs of changing out the buffet to lunch and didn't seem to have any issues with us going back into line for some of the lunch offerings. Now, this was way back in 2002, but as the restaurants don't actually close between breakfast and lunch, I don't think they would make one leave.

I don't know what the technical answer they would give you at the restaurant, but we always go for late breakfasts at CP. I have no problem taking some of the lunch food since they are removing the breakfast food choices. They do leave most of the breakfast food out. But not all.
