Last weekend in August

How are the crowds for the last full week in August at MK and the water parks? I am hoping most kids will be in school so the crowds will be manageable.

Most schools in the south start in early August. Even here we start August 25th. you should have low crowds, go and have fun!!

I should be pretty good. We have been down there the last two weeks in AUg and it has always been pretty good.

I picked that week last year & loved it!!! I used to live in Clearwater before moving to NJ and thought my SIL was nuts for going to WDW at that time since I remembered how hot it used to be in FL at that time. I was pleasantly surprised - although it was hot, I didn't feel like it was anywhere near "pass out" hot. We brought our squeeze breeze & Brita water bottles & were absolutely fine. We're going the last week in August next year, too.

As far as parks go - the water parks got a bit crowded, but we always got there as early as we could. A few times we hit EMH and felt like we had the place to ourselves - especially MGM.
