Thanks! It's Sunny. yep, my real name. no, my parent's weren't hippies. lol. In fact, my parents were a bit older when I was born. My mother was 36 and my dad was 58. (Not a typo, 58!) lol. My dad named me and said I would be "the sunshine of his old-age." I never liked it as a child, (couldn't find anything personalized for me, lol) but I've grown to love it.
Maybe I should put it in my siggie.

And for this first timer, I'm enjoying learning all kinds of stuff here on DIS but I'm also enjoying seeing who else is going to be there at the same time.

Sunny...I had pm'd you for information on Savannah.....just realized we'll be at ASMO the same time you will! Only we're checking out on the 29th.

Also, I just added Whispering Canyon Cafe for lunch on the 28th to our ADR's, I have Tony's booked for the same day but most likely will cancel that one.....we want to see the WL, just to be nosey.

Oh, hey! I remember now. I would LOVE to try WCC one day, but we try to eat in the park because naps take so much out of the day.
We just switched to POFQ. It's our second onsite stay and the first was ASMo. I really did like it, but we were in the Herbie building. (Long walk with a 3 year old, 1 year old and my 62 year old mother) When I realized that it would cost us less to upgrade to POFQ than our trip was going to cost pre-free dining, I switched. The couple that is going with us will be a LOT happier as that is more their style and it's a smaller resort so, from what I understand, no matter where our room is, the walk won't be bad.
I would love to just go see the WL. I'd love to check them all out. Maybe next time we do a couples trip for our anni in Dec. Then we could see all of the decorations!

We just returned a week ago from 1 week in Vero and 1 week at OKW with DH, DMIL and DS (6 months). We had just a great time and loved it so much, we became DVC Members. DH and I are "homesick" already and have booked our next trip for Sep 26 - Oct. 2. We are booked at BWV but spending the last night at OKW as BWV is booked.

while I'm here can I just say that I am stressing to the max here?

I've got our ADR's....BUT now I think I need to change another one because we're not going to be in MK on Sunday like I had thought. All the others are outside the actual parks at resorts.

BUT...what is really stressing me? I'm reading here and I'm reading the Unofficial guide...trying to figure out which parks to do on which days...AND I'm looking at which park has early hours (in the a.m.) and they all contradict each other!!

We don't have the park hopper option so we can't hit this park for early hours then this park for later hours...... AND two mornings we have ADR's for breakfast so we can't even get to the parks at opening time or early hours unless I call and move those to a later time (currently they are at 8:50am & 9:00am----that was what was offered at the time I called and I took it).

I thought this was supposed to be fun?

I thought this was supposed to be a vacation?
