Last week in July? What to expect

How crowded is it late July? Parks, resorts, roads? Any info would be greatly appreciated.

Really crowded and hot. Take advantage of Early Entry and then leave the parks each afternoon for a swim/nap. Make use of Fastpass. Set up your PS's before you leave home.

Hot, crowded, rainy. Just be prepared by getting up early and taking an afternoon break. Drink LOTS of water.

I was in Disney World for the very first time the last week of July 2003. Everything everyone else has said is completely true It was unbearably hot, and extremely crowded, and it did rain every day. Still, it was not a horrendous experience - in fact it was awesome, so don't despair . My advice? Take lots of breaks at AK, it's gets really hot there. And most importantly, don't be afraid of the rain. The air cools off a lot after it rains, and a lot of people leave the parks when it starts to rain. We had most of our fun during or after a downpour. Good luck, and have fun

The parks are crowded with lots of tour groups and last minute FL residents getting their fun filled before heading back to school (usually the first of Aug).

As everyone said, it is hot, and rains nearly everyday! We still go the last week July and first week August. Hot in Disney is better than Hot in Boston!!

We don't do much of the parks though!!!
