again.
again.
I'll have to go look at your TR

I'm struggling to keep awake. I still have a horrible cough and am going to get into bed. Been fighting this cold for the last 3 weeks and I'm so over this cough! My head is also still spinning.
I should be back at work but I'm going to see the doctor tomorrow.
It sure looks like change is in the air for you firefly. Have you been looking at job ads in Orlando?
I hope you feel better soon! Being sick that long is never fun. I've been coughing and sneezing lately, but other than that I feel fine, so I think I just developed seasonal allergies at some point
). So not dealing with the Lynx system again if I do move back. That bus system is one of the reasons I lost my job at Disney in the first place!I have talked with my manager. This has been going on for about five months, and this facility has only been open for six. I finally got sick of the nonsense and spoke with our manager about it a few weeks ago. Basically, some of the things that my coworker pulls are things that would get her certification revoked if the state knew about it. She makes mistakes with medication reminders, "forgets" to take certain residents' blood pressure in the morning (certain people have that done every morning), is rude and dismissive to the residents (especially our two residents with moderate dementia), and ignores the radio when I'm trying to get a hold of her. She also ignores Sara alarms, which are our emergency call signals. Everything else she does doesn't affect the residents, but it does affect the fact that, for example, I can't take my lunch break if she's not answering the radio because she's asleep in a vacant room. She's also consistently late, sometimes over two hours late. And then she fudges her time sheet to say that she arrived on time.
I'm really trying not to trash her. She is a good worker when there's a supervisor around, but only then. If she's left to her own devices, she doesn't do anything. We split the duties at night so that she does the meds and laundry and I do the cleaning because if she does the cleaning, it literally doesn't get done. She pulls the trash and that's it. If she worked during the daytime, she wouldn't be pulling any of this bull, but because we work overnight and there's no one here to make sure things get done, she does this.
I don't think you're trashing her...you're just having a vent; and we all need to do that!
I don't know what to say....it sounds like your manager needs to do something about her and you might want to keep a log/diary (privately) about her actions that are inappropriate.
If you think it is appropriate, you might want to let your manager know that you are concerned that an incident may occur whilst you and her are on duty and that you are going to keep a log so that you have perfect recollection of activities on every work day - just in case. That way, you are covering yourself just in case.
She suggested that if I can, get photos of anything I can so that she has proof. The video cameras only store for a certain amount of time. But yeah, this has been an ongoing thing for a long time. Our old department manager recently left the company (not sure under what circumstances) and it was her job to do something about my coworker, but she never did. So now we don't have a dept manager at the moment, so our facility director (the boss I was referring to earlier) told me that she'd do something about it. I honestly don't care what's done, as long as my coworker doesn't assume that she can get away with this stuff anymore. It's beyond ridiculous.
