He was in Melbourne last year for our Food and Wine festival....inferred that one of our TV hosts looked like "Miss Piggy", which caused a big stink....all over him. He had to apologise (which he did of sorts) publically.

Why? Because in the interview she did with him, she didn't fawn all over him and was obviously repulsed by him when he made a pass at her...

I think he is definitely sort of gruff...egotistical maybe..but I also love the strong personality and the shows I've seen..Hells Kitchen, The F word, & Kitchen Nightmares..he shows my type of sense of humor and he shows a heart..I would love to try one of his restaurants...and he "ain't bad on the eyes"

I'd love to try a restaurant too. Hoped he would consider opening in restaurant in Melbourne after his visit last year.....after his run in with the press, I doubt it.

Jamie Oliver opened a restaurant in Melbourne about 3 years ago, and ran a reality TV show based on it "Fifteen". The fifteen would be chefs were from disadvantaged backgrounds. Some of them still work in the restaurant.
