Another answer to a question I posted. :lmao: I should have kept reading!

Three! :scared1: :faint:

yep, three in braces.

But at least one is paid off.

We planned it out so that we would be paying for two at a time. Pay one off, add the next. So basically adding a new one every two years :sad2:

I told my kiddos one of them has to be an orthodontist when they grow up! :rotfl:

Today I have to go to Hickory for an EMG and nerve conduction tests for my arm/wrist. I'm not looking forward to it and I'm nervous. I had this done on both legs a few years ago and I remember it was NOT fun at all! :sad2:

 I hope it went well Kathy!

pta meeting tonight.

and I have to go to the store b/c they kids are having their class parties tomorrow. AND dd just told me she has to bring stuff in for the birthday celebration. He teacher just told them about it TODAY! :headache:

so how did it go today??

Well, as far as the EMG that I was dreading 'cause I know (from having it done on my legs) that it can be rather painful - that was great...'cause I didn't have to have it done.

But on the other hand, the results of the nerve conduction study showed that the carpel tunnel is so severe - that's why I didn't have to have the EMG done.

The neurologist spent quite a bit of time talking with me after the NCS. He said that it is an "extremely" severe case and I need to follow-up with my doctor as soon as possible to discuss surgery. He said that I need surgery ASAP to stop the damage, however, he feels as severe as it is the surgery will probably not fix the damage that has already been done...meaning I may have a numb thumb and index finger for life! And he also said that I am very close to the possibility of losing the use of my thumb! I knew it was bad but I never imagined it was as bad as he made it sound.

So, I have an appointment with my doctor next Wednesday.

YIKES:scared1:
Glad you got into the Drs soon
I hope they have better news

I have been so worried about my job and my bosses reaction...until the neurologist talked to me today. Now I don't care. The boss will have to deal with it! I'm not going to take a chance of losing the use of my thumb!!

You want to be a Fancy Nancy? Sounds like a call girl or something....

Well, I guess that fits with the fact that she's a teacher!! :lmao:

Sorry, Kim - just couldn't resist.......

Did you hear about the teacher in Ohio who was arrested for prostitution? She actually arranged to meet her "customer" using her computer at school! :scared1:

DS wants to audition for AI -LIVE, next year since He'll be 16-and I told him if he does good on the AI Experience I might let him-He's one one who sang with the Atlanta Symphany Orchestra

But I just think trying out for the real show, at such a young age, is not the Best experience in the world :scared:

so we'll see how he does with this AI Experience-if he get choosen that is ;)

Wow! That's awesome!
