...just back - dr said that he COULD operate (because of the break) but it wouldn't heal any better or faster than if he left it alone....so, keep the arm immobile for at least a week or two....no phys ed till Nov 1 and he goes back in 3 weeks for another x-ray to make sure the bone is healing properly...

I was pretty worried for you & DS, from what you were describing I was afraid to say what I was thinking...just hang in there and I'll keep praying for him to recover

It will replace a 1960's style chandelier that is so outdated! Her mother's taste was like 1950's Architectural Digest only she decorated the house in the 1980's.

Kim, I hope your son feels better soon! If you have any frozen peas in the house, those work pretty well for ice packs, too, and then you can just make them for dinner when they thaw That's what my mom always used for us.

...thanks. Hopefully, he won't have to do any adjustment - the bone broke in such a way that the two broken ends are facing 'up' towards the skin, and they were concerned about the bone breaking through the skin....

Wow! Things have been very slow! Last night we had cube steaks in fresh tomato sauce, tonight we had Chicken Florentine. Busy, busy day! Just fininshing watching TV and going to bed soon.
