I don't know, actually! I slept until about 4:15 or so, then got up, showered, grabbed something to eat, and came to work. I'm currently sitting on a washing machine waiting for the resident to be done. How about you?

...* sigh *...hoo-boy, strange weekend....my DS broke his collarbone on Saturday, so I had to wait to 9AM this morning to call the pediatric ortho dr. to make an appointment for him, to see if it has to be 'set'....his appt is at 12:15 today...

....8 years of playing pee-wee rec football and nothing happens - he was playing football with his friends at the park and fell on it wrong; it snapped....

...thanks. Hopefully, he won't have to do any adjustment - the bone broke in such a way that the two broken ends are facing 'up' towards the skin, and they were concerned about the bone breaking through the skin....

...he still has a giant ice-pack [that he got from the hospital] on it, but he got some of his color back and he wants me to make him some chicken fries - that's always a good sign....

...just back - dr said that he COULD operate (because of the break) but it wouldn't heal any better or faster than if he left it alone....so, keep the arm immobile for at least a week or two....no phys ed till Nov 1 and he goes back in 3 weeks for another x-ray to make sure the bone is healing properly...
