Well, during the worst of what was going on, he was actually at training camp :guilty: He's laying behind me right now, looking out the windows :) We also only keep him at the desk until about 10:30 or so, and then he goes into the offices, where his crate and bowls are (but we don't lock the crate, so he has run of the little office that his crate's in). But yeah, he's a good boy :)

well the important thing is he's here now :goodvibes I have to say goodnight I am ready to drop..............give Samson a hug for me

Ugh, I'm here briefly, we were at Lowe's for three hours tonight! $1000+ later :scared1: Luckily I have been carrying around about $1500 in Lowe's cards and Home Depot cards for the past year so it really didn't "cost" us that because we paid for the cards over a year ago. We bought nice blinds, drawer pulls, and air conditioner, ceiling fan, porch lights, paint, welcome mat, all kinds of stuff for one of our best apartments. We hope to finish it up tomorrrow :lmao: not going to happen! But hopefully within a week or so it will be ready to go.

If so that means that I will be spending my afternoon weekends sitting at the apartment hosting open house because we want top $$ for this apartment. It's way too nice to just get idiots in there like we did last September because we were desperate. They were Aussie exchange students! :lmao: Sharon did you know them? I think they even were from Melbourne! Croydon, Doncaster and Melbourne...

Anyways, we have lots of rehab to go, well not much I hope it's ready to go soon, even if it means me sitting there on weekends hopefully it will mean lots of money coming in (1st months rent + security) and then subsequent months rent!

Well good night, feed the kids and we'll be up early!

no problem when you go back home we are all moving to Oz with you :)

Sounds good to me. Which part of Oz are you planning on moving to? :rotfl2:

Busy weekend....here's hoping for other desperate idiotic Aussie exchange students. Croydon and Doncaster used to be the 'almost country/suburbia' when I first moved to Melbourne. It is firmly outer suburbia now.

Hi Dana! I've been working on the photography scavenger hunt and have posted this week's pics. The evening is all fun and shameless posting now; except for getting the boy to bed for school tomorrow.

How are you doing?

I'm okay :) Just goofing off at work and waiting for a movie to buffer on Netflix. It's a Starz documentary about movie villains. I posted on my PTR earlier, so you should go take a peek when you get a minute :teeth:

I made tacos and brought them to work, but I had no tortillas, so I just brought chips instead. Still tasty

I'm already yawning and it's only quarter to 8 pm at night.

I might take advantage of a slow night and head to bed early. How long are you at work for?

Another two hours and twenty minutes, so 10pm your time. I usually get to bed around 8am (11pm your time). I'm just really bored at the moment :lmao:

I'll stay up for a bit more.

Today, we went into the city to see a Tim Burton exhibition at ACMI http://www.acmi.net.au/. I couldn't take pictures inside the exhibition; which was a shame. There were heaps of storyboard originals and models of the characters from his movies.

The highlight for me are his short poems, handwritten, framed and on display. They were very funny.
He has one about a blind date that his friend set up....the punchline being that his friend lied about the date being blind. Turns out she could see very well.
There was another one about a cold statue girlfriend...and at the end you had to smile when a pidgeon landed on her.

That would be an awesome exhibition to see :) I went to see the Harry Potter exhibition when it was here in Chicago, which was fun. No pictures there, either.

I wonder if that means that the HP exhibition will come to ACMI at some stage?

We had PIXAR last year; and GAME On the year before. Can't remember the one before that.

I purchased a double pass ticket for me. There is the European Masters at the National Gallery of Victoria and it was cheaper to buy the double pass than to purchase them individually.

I'm going to shutdown soon. I'm practically holding myself up at the PC.

Maybe I'll catch you tomorrow?
