Hey everyone! We got some good news today! We received a letter regarding one of our investments that stated that the owners needed to vote on whether or not to sell the investment. The good news is that if it sells, we will get almost the same amount of money that we were asking for in our loan, we just won't have to pay it back!
Keep your fingers crossed! If it goes through, we will have a safety net again!
So far, yes My mom and I went to the fabric store this afternoon so I could get material for part of a costume. My best friend's supposed to come by tomorrow, but I haven't heard from her yet today. So we'll see.
Hello Ness....have you been well? DH and I have been talking about biting the bullet and going over to the dark side.....Yup, we're seriously considering getting a FB account. DS is getting to that age and I figure we've got about 2 years of deliberations in this household before either DS beats us to the FB account or we make up our minds about opening an account and possibly beating him! We should be on LTP # 25 by then???
The only other thing I would say is make sure that you "friend" your son before he thinks it's weird. Make sure that you and your DH set up accounts before he does so you have a clue how it works. Don't let him share things with "Friends of Friends" Make sure his settings are "only friends" and that you and DH are "friends", that way you will see everything he posts.
I would suggest that you start up and check it out sooner rather than later. If I had a kid, I'd want to know about things that would be taking up their attention prior to when they wanted to start up and FB takes some amount of learning curve....
I have a Facebook account, but I RARELY do anything with it. If I do, it's usually just getting in touch with old Disney coworkers. I don't really like it.

LOL! My son already knows that he can "unfriend" his parents!
Thanks. We're giving it some serious thought. At the moment, we're still on the upper hand as DS doesn't have an email account (yet). I'm hoping to delay this for at most another 2 years. I'll probably look into this after the October trip; when planning and photography isn't all encompassing.
I'm tired! Been out all weekend playing tour guide for my cuz. Today, we went to see a fringe Theatre group play. It was good and I managed to get 90 minutes of sitting down and resting!
