I'd like to ask for some thoughts and prayers from everyone for our friend....

A little background -

David is a neighbor and friend of ours. We've know him for almost 18 years. He is a veteran - lives alone - and farms. He's the type that will do anything for anyone!

I don't know all the details but yesterday he was in his truck. He keeps a rifle in his truck (remember - unlike those of you in the city we live out in the sticks - most people who hunt or farm keep guns in the vehicles). Anyway, somehow the rifle fell, discharged and it went completely through one leg and into the other. They flew him to Johnson City (TN) late yesterday. He was conscious when they took him but he's lost a lot of blood.

If you would, please keep him in your thoughts and prayers.

I woke up yesterday morning with the beginnings of gout in BOTH of my feet! Luckily I was able to get a prescription called in yesterday morning and got on that right away. Hopefully, it won't get to bad this time since I caught it so early! At least I can still walk!

Well - I'm off! Busy day here (another reason it's a good thing my feet aren't too bad too much to do!)

I've got a wedding shower brunch to go to, then a few errands to run, the we have a Christmas party for DH's work tonight!
