Then after we finished up with the parade and took the fire truck back to the department we all went to pick out our Christmas tree!

We always try to pick one out that is a bit of a Charlie Brown tree (a flat side or a bit of a hole or whatever) because the man gives us one each year and we don't like to take one that he'd get top dollar for. But this year all he had was big ones and they were all beautiful. We ended up with a huge one!

We're cleaning so we can bring the tree in and decorate! (One time a year I can get everyone motivated for cleaning! )

We really did! We've had a great day all around. First the parade, then getting our Christmas tree and then tonight we went to watch a Christmas play at church!

OK-Parents are leaving this afternoon around 5pm-and we're leaving for the Airport at 3:15-dropping Catie off on the way for her end of season soccer Party
-Her Coach is a Doctor and He always puts on a HUGE Party for the Girls-should be fun for her!!!!

So Glad you had a Great Day Yesterday

It really was a great day! And today's pretty good so far. We're decorating for Christmas.

And tonight A.J. has his football banquet!

We finally have the Christmas tree vertical! It took a couple of tries for DH to realize the the trunk of the tree is crooked. Every time he'd stand it up it was crooked. He had the trunk straight in the tree stand but the trunk itself was what was crooked!

I started to put my artificial tree up in the kitchen and realized I needed to do some cleaning first! So Matthew and I have been cleaning - dusting woodwork, cleaning the ceiling fan lights, etc. Oh what fun it is to...... well, you know the song!
