I just checked the weather report and they're saying snow after midnight. Up to 6" accumulation by tomorrow afternoon. Who knows - kids may be out of school AGAIN!

I just talked to my friend! She and her DS are on their way home from Baptist Hospital - WITH HER DD!

The doctor there said that there is no reason for someone her age to be in the hospital with this problem and that she can be treated on an out-patient basis. She's just going to need to watch her diet very carefully until they get it all figured out!

She wasted a week in the hospital up here, starving, because of their incompetence!

I made the mistake of going to the kitchen to get myself a few pieces of leftover ham! I was spotted.

DH yells - "I'll have ham, sweet potatoes and stuffing."

A.J. wanted ham and sweet potatoes.

Andrew wanted ham and stuffing.

And I got myself ham and some stuffing.

My quick run to the kitchen ended up being about 20 minutes!

No you wouldn't - not when it ends up screwing up when they get out at the end of the school year! I think they've only got two or three more snow days that are built into the school calendar and then when those are used up they have to start making up the days at the end of the school year.

Plus - the fact that they've had so many days already before Christmas messes up their exam schedule. Usually they have exams the last three days before Christmas break. But because they've had so many snow days already they'll have their exams right after the break, which is hard for some kids.
