Baseball has very strange rules. If the Rays would not have tied the game before they called it the Series would have been over. So they would not have even gotten the chance to finish the game.

This is why playing in a Dome is a wonderful thing. Nothing gets in the way of the game.

More rain today.....and cold!!

I noticed that they said 8:00 tonight. But than made the statements that the weather is only going to be worse than it was lastnight.

Jess was watching the snow closures on the TV hoping and I was laughing at her Yes out west of here is getting snow and closing but here so far all we have is Rain...
Snow is predictied tonight

Our high today is only supposed to be 34! But the snow is supposed to be over.

I noticed that they said 8:00 tonight. But than made the statements that the weather is only going to be worse than it was lastnight.

Yeah the weather does NOT look like it will cooperate at all with a game tonight

That would have been a lousy way for the series to win

but I want a good series and fair games

It would have been a terrible way for the Series to end. I wouldn't want to win the Series that way.

Nope! But she did get a lot of publicity from it, has performed all over England and got a book deal. She wants to train animals for films. She'll make it. I think the whole thing gave her the self-confidence that she really needed!

Wow. I can't stand bullies.

Like I said before - Andrew is still dealing with stuff from when he was bullied in 8th grade. He has no self-confidence when it comes to being around others. I've tried to tell him that if he continues to let that bother him he is only letting the bullies continue to have a hold over him. The last couple of months or so he seems to be moving on and letting go a little. I'm glad that we have a good relationship and he talks to us about his feelings.

She made a statement when she was getting ready to go on stage. If it weren't for Gin she wouldn't have a life.

I heard that the first time I watched the video (I've watched it a couple of times) and I felt sorry for her when she said that!

That's why I liked the video clip so much and shared it here. Seems like every time you turn around the news is so bad - and this just seemed to lighten up the day!

You get a break from the bills by turning the AC off and we get to start getting the higher bills because of the heat!
