And.... my kids wanted milk to drink, but they said no refills on it.
Ok, I agreed to it, until I saw on the menu where it said "bottomless milk" and I pushed to get refills on it.
I was very polite about it, but I insisted that they honor their menu.
They gave me all of these excuses
"it's a brand new menu"
"we just got it this week"
"it's a test menu" and
"oops, it's a typo"
but all I did was keep pointing to "bottomless milk" and the manager finally let us have it "just this one time"
whatever!
they'll give kids all the free sugar water they want, but only one cup of milk... makes me irritated

She never got into a room until about 2:00. When she got into her room her husband went to stand beside her and he held her hand.
She looked up at him and said, "Did you talk to the doctor." And her husband said, "Yes, he came out and talked to us right after the surgery was over." And she said, "Do I have cancer?" That's the first time that she has even said that dreadful "C" word out loud! Instead of a straight answer, without thinking, her husband said, "Didn't the doctor talk to you?" Which, naturally, got her all scared. She said, "I don't remember! Do I?" And he said, "No." So she looked at me and reached out her hand for me to hold it, like she didn't believe him but thought that I would tell her the truth! And she said again, "Do I?" So I told her that the first thing the doctor said to us was that he "saw no signs of cancer!" And she started to cry! Which in turn made me start to cry! (And I had been doing so good!)
to God!

He's not like my DH who just jumps right in and does whatever needs to be done!
