Still NO Gas in Town except in 1 out of 10-12 stores-and this ain't no small Town-Ughhh

-and the people in the know say that it will be at least another 2-3 weeks before this will be over-I can't deal with this much longer-it's just Crazy Land!!!!

Are you going to stay over next weekend??

Yes I am going to stay over Friday night and come home Saturday night. So Saturday will still end up being a long day. But worth it.

Thanks for putting the link Kelli! I didn't even know there was a birthday thread for me!

It took me awhile to find it. They are putting birthdays up thru the end of October already. That I don't understand because it just buries the people current birthday down 10 pages or so.

Just got home from the lake about 1/2 an hour ago. We just rode around and explored some areas that we hadn't been to before. The water is really, really low! We fished for a little while - or should I say - once again fed the fish!


DH and the boys are putting dinner together now. (Everything was just about done but they had to put the ribs on the grill.) I'm starved!!


Oops, gotta run, DH just called me for dinner!!!

It sounds like you had a nice relaxing day. And you are feeding the fish so they can get bigger for when you do catch them.

I've been real sick these past few days.

My in-laws are CLOSING on a house on our block TOMORROW!!!

Morning Quiet around here

I got gas yesterday -I almost turned around when I 1st saw the sign- I thought it said 4.96/gallon and then realized it said 3.96/gallon

Never thought I'd be happy to pay just under 4.00/gallon-so sad, but at least they say the pipeline is now running at 100% capacity again-so only another week left of no gas is predicted

We went to look at a car yesterday. Never realized how much the gas shortages are affecting everyone here. We almost couldn't test drive it because they didn't have gas in it and all the stations on this end of the county were out. Finally did find one with gas so the guy at the car lot gave me money to put gas in it while I was test driving it!

Anyone on here have a Grand Am?

I had one a long time ago. We kept it for 9 years so I guess that was good.
