Cake turned out OK
well sort of OK I tried flipping it out of the pan onto a platter to frost and some of it stuck so I was upset but DH fixed it and we all enjoyed

Yep, they went to school! Started at 10:30. At 11:30 they made the decision to dismiss early - elementary schools at 12:30 and high school at 1:30! So they got 3 whole hours in! Oh well, at least it was enough to count it as a school day!
