Neighbor just came over to complain about DS riding his dirt bike out back. The noise of it is "bothering" them. Well, actually neighbor didn't come over - smart move because we have a restraining order against him so that he can't come on on property (have had it for years and he's been smart enough not to violate it) but he had someone who is visiting him come over. DH "politely" told him that DS had just finished riding for the night so he shouldn't bother them any more tonight, however, he will be riding again tomorrow. He's on our property, at a reasonable time of day, sorry if it's bothering them. It's not too loud, maybe just a little louder than a weedeater! And this isn't like a next door neighbor....our house sits on 5 acres on this side of the road! So there's probably 8-10 acres between us and them.

Holy cow some people just like to have issues. It is not like he was riding after dark when somebody was trying to sleep or anything.

Sounds like a fun weekend. Where are you going boating??

When we lived down there we had a boat (lived on the water) and we were on the bay but it only took a few minutes to get to the gulf. Be careful boating on the 4th!




Hope you got it worked out.

Boating in the Gulf. It is not 100% sure now. The weather might play a part in our activities for the 4th.

Hi Everyone-busy busy here!

I have off til Sat(DH too)for me - since yesterday-and DH's family is coming in town-his Mom did yesterday and today the rest of the gang should be here-it's going to be a good day-but busy busy

lots of cooking going on here-lasagna last night, shrimp and chicken alfredo tonight and of course the typical burgers/brats/hot dogs on the 4th!!!

if it was my DH -- he would have joined in the riding and noise making!!! and we don't live that far from our neighbors
