I made a checkerboard cake today!

So, I decided to transfer some pictures from my cell phone to my computer, mostly pics from this weekend.

This is part of the big hall at Union Station.

These three were taken from the Ferris Wheel, which is 150ft tall and gives a great view of the skyline.

We stopped for ice cream at Ghirardelli, too!

While at Navy Pier, we stopped into Build-A-Bear and built the Vader Bunny for Cherry, which she LOVED.

We spent a LOT of time playing Scrabble on my iPod Touch.

Tonight we're going out for dinner at German night!

Yes. That's my friend. One of the other mum's that got a job had an unexpected day off...so she came along as well. They wanna meet up for lunch but I'm still not feeling well and might not pitch up.

Massage was great and I followed it up with the chiro; so I'm all back in alignment now.

I currently have a blanket in my doorway instead of a door. The door's still there, it's just that with my air conditioner, my room is the coolest area in the house. The blanket's so that the dog can come and go when she pleases

It's in the high 70s right now, but it was in the mid-90s this afternoon. It's supposed to be cooler over the next couple of days, I just still have my AC on right now. It's on low
