Bummer about the disc. I'm guessing it isn't seated flat. Are you ok to take the computer apart? You can find instructions on the internet on how to uninstall the hardware if you aren't sure.

My laptop is over 4 years old. The pin hole does not exist


On the bright side, I've been thinking about an upgrade anyway. I'm thinking of heading the way of the Mac, and purely for my photography getting the iPad2 in the same hit.

The thing is though, no way can you have fine dining at an establishment that also has cabins for rent. I refuse to believe that. Maybe it is an old sign? It would be like the Sacher Hotel having a sign stating fine pastries and bicycles for rent. No!

Speaking of the Sacher Hotel, I highly recommend their signature Torte. It is absolutely, positively scrumtious, and most delish! I have not had such in a long time, but at least have been fortunate enough so as to relish this fine Torte, on several occasions over the years. You can order it straight from their hotel. There are two Sacher Hotels, one in Austria, and the other being in Salzburg.
The Sacher Hotels offer truly fine dining as well.
To be able to visit either hotel, to dine upon fine cuisuine and then savor their exquisite Torte, would ever so truly be a most magical and wonderful experience for me. As well for anyone that is so inclined.

Well I know a couple places that are fine dining and have cabins. In fact at one you can ride horses and bikes too. $700-$900 a night and includes the 5 course dinner. And they accept reservations for non guests. But you won't get one for 2011 unless you called in 2010 or 2009.

We burned our 2007 trip to NYC, Montreal, Quebec, Niagara, Boston etc on to CD. I found the CDs and wanted to take a look at the photos to see if I could string some words together.....

CD is currently STUCK.....yes....STUCK in my CD disk reader on my PC......can't read it, can't eject it.....have called backup support. We're going to have to dismantle the PC (this weekend) in order to get it back out.

So Alison - those pictures you wanted....are gonna be a bit more delayed!

I'm not a fan of DVD or cd as being the only option. I'd still have HDD.
The above situation amongst other issues. The number of times burnt discs fail is very frustrating.

Hope you can get the disc out ok and then get it read

I still say no such creature. Especially if one is using the Sacher Hotels, as the ruler. Which I am. I do not readily accept someone else's terminology, not without evidence. I know the differences personally.

Ok so what I found. in 2009 the limit on a thread appeared to be 5K. Because an Admin closed a bunch at 4,999 or 5,000 exatly. One seemed to get a page a day in 2008 and was closed at over 5K by a mod saying it passed the 250 page limit.

But liked I said I found one much higher.

I know my imformation may not be correct. Because after a while some boards limit how many threads are listed and they fall of the forum. So I was only searching threads that still exist.

So how I checked.

I tried to go to every forum. May of missed some because some are not linked from the main page, and not listed in the header of other pages. But I checked what I found and knew of.
