Last seatings for character meals...More interaction or less?

I am staying a BCV and have a breakfast ressie at 10:55 a.m. Breakfast ends at 11 a.m. The time is perfect because that is our check-out day and I'm planning on checking out, eating, and than getting ME.

I'm worried that at that time the characters will just want to go and won't be around during our whole meal. Should I move the time up a little? Or is it a great time because they will have more time to spend with us?

Anyone have experience with this?

I'm jumping in here because I want to know others' experiences with late/last seatings as well. We have a 7:55 at the Princess Storybook Meal in Epcot. It was the only time available on the day we are in Epcot. I am concerned that we will be rushed out by the princesses and servers.

I've always found you get more interaction. If there are still a lot of people in the place, then it's average, but a few times we were the last group or the only table in an area in the restuarant and we've had some really great moments with the characters. I think it also depends how the character feels that day, who you get, how you treat them ect. We always have fun asking questions and really get into it with them. I guess the more you put into it the more you get out of it. I will say the usually the characters come around right at the begining and you spend time with them and then you eat your meal in peace after they are gone. There is no constant interuption during your meal, its sorta all at once.

We had one of the last seatings at 1900 Park Fare. Two CM's came over to our table to make sure that all five characters had visited us, before they left for the night.

I had always booked first seatings for lunch & early seatings for breakfasts, and then this year we tried the last seating at CP for breakfast. It was the best ever. The place had cleared out a bit, and the characters were able to come several times and it was so much more relaxing. I will do this again for sure!:goodvibes

We just recently had the last lunch seating at Hollywood and Vine and found the character interaction wonderful. The restaurant was clearing out and the characters didn't seem to be rushing around trying to see all the tables- just the kids that were left. We will try, in the future, to always plan at the end of the meal time.

I used to say late seating character interaction was great. But this year at 'Ohana has changed my opinion. Last year the characters continued to make the rounds until everyone left. This year, they only came around once and I heard them tell the family next to us whose son has missed Stitch while in the restroom that he couldn't come back as he was gone already. :confused3

Last year our ADR was for the last seating (then it was 11 a.m.) This year it was for 10 min. before last seating (11:50)
