I just got a DING and booked RT flights for MIL/FIL/2 nieces for $405!! Cross country Sac to Col!! It was only $101 per person round trip! :woohoo:

This will be the first time the cousins will be visiting us in Ohio EVER! This will be their first trip past the Rockies... hmm maybe even outside of CA?!!

:cool1: :cool1: WooHoo!!!! :cool1: :cool1:

Evening everyone-Catie and I just celebrated our last day together of Our all girl weekend:thumbsup2

We went on a small shopping spree at the Mall and then out to eat at the Olive Garden-it was a Great dinner!!!!

Your all girl weekend sounds great! DD and I used to do that. Now it's mom/son weekends and we try to do them as often as we can. I love being able to spend some quality time with just one of them at a time.

ME TOO :)

well actually I have to leave at 10:30 to get there by 11 but the bummer side is I have to work until 5 instead of 3

I have to leave by 10:30 to get there on time, too.

But I'm scheduled until my regular time of 4. (Which means I probably won't get out until 4:30 or 5:00). It's still a short day for me, though! :cool1:

Kathy that will be neat some
mom/ son time sailing the high seas:)

::yes::

If we can ever afford to do it.

We may be cancelling our trip to PA this month and I thought that if we had to do that then I would be able to take some extra time off work in August and he and I could go right before school starts. Then I remembered we need passports, which are going to be about $180 and they're saying that the wait time for passports right now is 10-12 weeks!! So I don't know if that is going to work out or not. We may have to wait until winter some time. I'm a little hesitant about going during hurricane season, too!

Good morning.

Just so you know as of right now Land and Sea you don't need the Passport yet. You only need your Birth Certificate.

But if you were to miss the Boat in one of the ports it could be trouble to get to the next port without the passport.

So as long as your are careful you won't need the passport until next year.

Is that the Disney Land and Sea you're talking about?? My understanding from Carnival (from their website) for the cruise to the Bahamas you do need a passport. :confused3 I'd book it right now if I didn't need a passport. :yay: Maybe I need to give them a call to make sure.

how did g do the rest of the day liz??

he felt pretty good after he cleared his stomach, but it ended up coming out the.... well you know :sad2: ..... all day.

he feels good this morning though....I hope it lasts for a long, long, long, long time!

Wow I can't believe your trip is so close... are you all packed??
NO!!!!!!!!! :scared1:

That's really neat to have some quality time with DD like that!!!

I have been thinking about the cruise that I won and was starting to plan a little for it. Andrew is going to be the one to go with me. DH doesn't want to go and I think it'll be neat for Andrew and I to have some quality mom/son time together. But although the cruise may be free there are other expenses (like passports) and I'm not sure we'll be able to go for a while yet!
that sounds great Kathy:goodvibes

We were going to do a Carnival Cruise in March and you won't need a passport according to the Passport Home and the Carnival Cruise site until next year.

No I mean you won't need a passport to travel by land or by sea until 2008. So you can drive into Canada or Mexico without a passport. But you can't fly into anyplace without one.
:thumbsup2
