Did I mention that DH saw Danny Glover and Angelina Jolie the other day come thru his checkpoint-He had to pat down Danny Glover since he has a fake hip that set off the metal detector

He even got to talk with them-I thought it was cool-DH said that Angelina looks anorexic!!!but was taller than he thought she was

Hi everyone-just getting back on line-right after my last post the construction crew cut through our cable and we just got back on-line now

I can only say it's been no fun having no internet and TV or Phone!!! especially with my 3 kids!!!!

Hope all the construction is done by now Kim! Doesn't sound like much fun!

It OK-it's such a sad thing I really am having a hard time dealing with it all-It's just one of my Best friends in WI-Her sister who has been battling post-partum depression-gave into it and lost the battle

so it's been so hard to understand how -how she could do it and leave everyone so lost and sad-especially her 3 young young children

By the way - to those of you that did call my cell phone - sorry I didn't answer. Most of the time I wasn't up to talking! But I did appreciate the calls!!

I talked to her yesterday and she said she's fine, just a little sleepy but she's on vacation all this week, so she's got pleanty of time to rest

I will...he didn't pm me...but he may not know how to pm or left really quick or needed to care for 3 boys and a house...or maybe he didn't want to give out the info to some random person on the internet

I hope she is okay...I am worried about her being there alone and then driving home once she gets out...

Lyn - Allen never read back when he posted so he never saw your post asking for the info. Sorry. I was just amazed that he even posted for me!

The boss told me to post : she is doing better and is expected to come home sunday. She still has spells where it is hard to talK or breath (if the talking part could stay after she gets home)she is able to move around now due to Iv's being removed so this helps her more. Thats all for now except she misses everyone and I will post tomorrow. IM LAST NOW HA!

Who needs to talk anyway??? A friend of mine brought me a princess wand with bells on it. If waving that to get Allen's attention doesn't work then she also brought me a cow bell!

Well we were planning to go to DC over spring break. DH really didn't like that idea too much and has been dragging his feet on the plans with me.

So now we are looking into a 7 day Cruise leaving out of Tampa.

See that is what he wanted to do from the very beginning. And no it will not be a Disney Cruise. WAY too much money on this short of notice.

So, Kelli, what have you decided on for spring break??

ok... sorry to post this and run..... but I am a little mad or frustrated so I need to vent and share......


Let me start with I LOVE MY PARENTS-- because in no way am I aiming to disrespect them or let you think I hate them ....

as you all know my father had his brain surgery last month and has been at home going to therapy for 6 hrs a day during the work week. some of you may not know that my mother is also disabled and since his surgery I have been "living" at their house to do dishes, laundry etc (except for the 6 days I went to see the mouse ) well, this weekend they are moving in to my small 900 sq ft home with my DH and I. DS and DD are at their moms till the summer (which we had to beg her to do) and then that's a whole new ball of worms to go through!!! I just am so upset that this is going to happen..... I know that is imature and selfish but I feel like my life will be over, let alone the stress that 4 adults in a small 3 bdrm 1 bath house gives, but that my DH and I will fight over them being in the house. Right now he is very understanding because he had a bed ridden father for all of his life and he understands, but now that thekids are 16 and 17, we are finally able to be a couple. and its nice . When we started dating his kids were 3 and 2 so we pretty much raised them so not much of a dating life and we were finally enjoying being alone (see selfish again). I guess I am not really typing anything new here, but I needed to get it off my chest. They move in with all their stuff tomorrow. Closing on their place is this coming Wednesday. This is supposed to be temporary (6-8 months) or until my dad is more mobil, but I know that it wont be temporary.

well sorry for complaining, but I felt like it was a safe place to complain with out others judging me.

If I don't get back on this weekend, I am the one behind the pile of house hold boxes.

Pam - sorry you're going through all of this. Don't feel like we'll judge you in any way.

I do know where you're coming from. My mom lived with us for four years before she passed away in 1990. It was hard at times. Luckily, Allen was very supportive and could not have treated her any better had she been his own mom. We did have a good relationship and she always respected our privacy.

Although it was hard at times, looking back I would not have done anything differently. Since she is gone I can look back and know that we made her last years the best they could be and that is a good feeling for me.

Vent any time. And pm me if you'd like - 'cause like I said I've been there!

Good luck with the new situation! They are lucky to have you!

She's much better now She came home a day after i went back to Fort Worth. I didn't want to leave her, but she was gonna be fine and it made sense for me to go back, instead of having to wait a week or 2 to go back.

Hello everyone.... Gosh been a while since i have been here. Been busy. DH has been activated and LM is about to go home. And oh yea... FIL is staying with me for a little while.

hey all! Just wanted to pop in and check in, we made it back to houston and I'm home now. I think Kathy must have talked to my cousin b/c all we listend to the whole time we were in Fort Worth was country music then we came back to houston and we went to see Dierks Bentley and Brooks and Dunn even when I came back to houston I was still surrounded by country music

So, are you becoming a country music fan Tracy????

Everyone has been sick this past week and now I am coming down with it so we are not going to do anything. DH and I are going to take the time when DD gets out of school in May and do the cruise. At least that was the plan a couple of days ago.

I might take Wednesday off and go to the water park or something like that.
