Kathy it really sounds like a wrong fitting mask which now not only doesn't help you breath better,but is causing a bruise!!!

You slept so well in the hospital since the Respiratory therapist helped fit the right mask on you-it's really too bad that they didn't get it right-But really hang in there and hopefully soon you will find the right sized mask and proper fit!!!

You really will like it once you get all the adjusting done-so when do you get the new mask??? Soon I hope!!!!

I'm so glad that I had the machine on in the hospital with a good mask so that I know that's the way it should fit and feel. Otherwise, I may have thought that the pain and uncomfortableness (is that a word?) was normal and probably wouldn't have wanted to give up really quickly! I'm still very optimistic that once we get the mask problem settled it will be making me feel so much better. But I decided yesterday that I'm not even going to try using the machine again until I get the new mask. Hopefully the new mask will be here by Friday. I'm going to Charlotte for the day Saturday and I'd love to have a full night's sleep Friday night and feel great for my shopping trip with Heather.

And while you're at it pour some of that salt on our roads too!

We have the furnace guy coming back out today. The humidifier is not working at all. The humidity level is 20 in the house. We can get it up to 40 with just a pot of water. they better get that fixed. T woke up with a bloody nose yesterday!
