It was Erica

the school Nurse said I had to pick her up

she had a 99. temp

that is NOT A FEVER

she was fine

but home she came


than DH took my truck for gas and it DIED

I mean it is really DEAD

so DH wins i am going car shopping this weekend

like i can afford it

but i gotta have acar so i guess i will go back to my first car payment in years

I just really LOVE old trucks but
I guess the time has come

I know i am weird most people would probably be excited
but I Loved my beasty truck it was an 1989 Ford Full size Bronco 4X4

oh well

I am beat
so off to bed

oh no, I would hate to go back to a car payment too I had a Bronco just like that for years, but it was a 1980...my parents bought it new, when I was five, and I used to drive it in high school and then they gave it to me later when I came home. The gas on it was a killer though we sold it when we got DH's truck...which he has had for 7 years...and I have a thing for dirty, rugged trucks too and the boys that drive them

I still see my Bronco now and again....good thing it can't talk, I bet it would have a lot of stories

Well it is nice to know i am not the only one

not only do i like them and the boys who drive them I like to drive them too

DH said we could look for another truck

but with gas at 2.50 a gallon

I will probably just get a car

My Uncle who live in FLA (Port St Lucie)

called last night

he put in an offer on a house on the NY/Penn border and if it is accepted

he will be moving home

and only be 4-5 hours from here


which is Great

he is my favortie Uncle and i only get to see him one day every other year now when i go to FLA

Wanna hear something SCARY

my nieces Uncle ( on the other side of her family)

went to the Hospital Wed night with what he thought was a Bad sinus infection

turns out he had a Brain anyurism ( sp??)

he came thru surgery ok

they said he may have some left side weakness

How scary what if he had just taken Tylenol sinus and went to bed

this is the niece who is 2 and her grandmother died the week after my DGF

Enough already

How about a smaller truck, not a full-size???

DH has a Dodge Dakota, quad cab. It's almost as good on gas as my van!

Uh, well, um, nope, can't give you a reason there.

Seriously, though, I used to say the same thing about working until two or three in the morning (and then driving home in the snow ) but it just came down to that was what worked best for the family!
