I just checked on a package that was supposed to be delivered FEDEX today. Of course they try to deliever when my Mom was picking DD up from school. Sorry they will try again tomorrow. :furious:

She sat home ALL DAY today because she knew I had a package coming and she basically missed him by 3 minutes.

That's how it always is. But can't she go to the FedEX building and pick it up herself? That's what I did when I wasn't home last time FedEX tried to deliver my Dis vacation package. :teeth:

Much better thanks. He went into school around 12 today. They were having a play and a fancy "tea" after school. He was in the play and I knew he really wanted to be there. He made it through the play and the tea and then begged to go to basketball practice. I gave in and let him go. He's a little tired now but that's about it! :cool1:

We've got snow here! About 2". DH called from town. He's sitting at a convenience store watching a bunch of cars slide all over. There are accidents all over. But rather than trying to wait until DOT gets out they're all rushing to get home. Plus, in town a water main broke and now there's ice across the main road downtown! What a mess. I hope it clears by mid-morning when we're supposed to leave for the weekend. (It's supposed to clear off and be nice tomorrow - cold, but nice!)
