she is 4 and at the no i dont need a nap (but really she does) stage so she becomes my little monster around 4 pm everyday. We were out running errands and she fell asleep on the way home so I have computer time now

IF I am lucky enough to have both kids napping in the car when I get home....I put them in the beds as fast as I can and take a nap too!!!! I need the rest more then them

quilt is coming along...DMil said it looked very nice, better than she "thought" it would...she was suprised

DS is still enjoying school...and is playing soccer again ...all but one kid on his team was from his preschool class and all of them go to his school...so it was very cool he was doing well, much better than last year...probable maturity and daddy not coaching

VERY COOL - So how are you doing with the school situation? It is getting easier yet?

MIL's are always surprised when we can pull something off.

I am sure he is doing better than last year because he is older and he has a better understand of the game.

don't want to jinx it... ---> school has been really great...for both kids and DH have a "system" that has been working out really well....I prep all the snacks, lunches, etc. and help in the morning and he picks up/drops off the kids...

we have less than 2 weeks till our schedule has to start. But if it's like last year it'll be:

Me: get kids up, make sure kids get dressed/clean, get breakfast, make lunches, get backpacks ready, make sure all homework is done and in backpacks.

DH: drop kids off at school

Me: pick kids up, get afternoon snack, get dinner ready, help with homework, make sure the kids get pjs/clean make sure kids get to bed on time.

I think that may cover everything.


oh yeah... don't forget I have to take a kid to vision therapy once a week, and the orthodontist apts and we're good

I get DD up and breakfast and ready for school.

DH gets her lunch together.

Homework is done and packed in the backpack the night before.

My mom takes her to school and picks her up.

I've been working on a project for the past few week and it is almost over.
