Some McDonald's will also sell you the toy without a HM purchase. Back in the early 90's it was $1. I saw a FB reel not too long ago and the person bough toys for $3/toy.

Regarding the 70th, they shared that the celebration will end on August 9, 2026.

PTN, Celebrate Happy Cavalcade, Wondrous Journeys, and the 70th character costumes will return in January.

I saw the posting of event for 2026 and notably missing is Season of the Force. Does this mean there won’t be one this year? Makes sense especially after the reduced Star Wars night.

I think the characters will go back to their 70th costumes immediately. They ran the cavalcade for M&M's birthday, so I think they are ready to go.

On Dec 2, McDonalds’s is launching a Disneyland Happy Meal in honor of the 70th. There will be 70 toys.

Who’s collecting?

Went to McD's for lunch and got a happy meal. I got the classic castle and Mickey Mouse. The top 2 that I wanted. I was so sure I'd get the Marvel characters that I have no clue who they are.

This isn’t exactly news, but finally saw Tapestry of Happiness last weekend and I really loved it. Like “will make it a priority to get back regularly” loved it— it’s total fan service for those of us who fondly remember and love Disneyland in the 80s (and probably before, but I only date back to the 80s) and it’s only 5 minutes.

You do need to be cool with the Jonas brothers Celebrate Happy theme though (which I also love).

Lol, in my top five Spotify songs this year... it really got my daughter up and moving her butt to get ready for school in the mornings, and it's pretty short, so would get a few repeats!
