Finally time to go get a shower. And, gee, I have to get up in four hours!!!

I finally got all the food downstairs, cleaned out both fridges, and we unplugged the upstairs fridge. Note the "we!" DH helped with the decision to unplug it!

OH NO! Around 9 I went to get something out of the fridge and it didn't seem as cold as usual. Just now I went to get sherbert out of the freezer and it's soup!

Yikes !!!!!!!!!!!

now I know why you are up so late

sorry Kathy I am guess the fridge died??

Okay Lissa - Here's a prime example of what we're all talking about saying our Dh's are like kids! -

I'm toting all this food down to the basement while DH is on the other computer playing counterstike! I take a frozen fruit bar into the family room to show him - it's not a good sign when you're holding a popsicle and the only thing solid about it is the stick. He doesn't come out to the kitchen until that round is over on counterstrike! Then he opens the freezer and says - it's cold in there, I just don't understand what's wrong! Gee, I'm not a repairman but I think what is wrong is that even if it's cold in there it's not cold enough! Can you say MELTING! So then he says, well what do you want me to do about it. Um, maybe go up and down the stairs carrying stuff to the deep freeze like I'm doing. And he says, oh, you want me to carry it downstairs. DUH! Then I got mad and said just forget it. So, he's back to playing counterstrike!

And he is off tonight, and tomorrow, and I worked all day today and have to be in at 8 tomorrow morning!

Sorry to vent but I really needed to!

DH just came out to the kitchen and asked if I was sure there was nothing I wanted him to do. I told him if I had to tell him what to do and he couldn't figure it out by himself then, no, there was nothing I wanted him to do!

Then he opens the freezer...AGAIN...and says, see it's getting colder in there! Please!

I don't mean to complain about DH and I usually don't so please forgive me. I'm just upset about the whole thing. We've been bombarded with doctor bills the past couple of days (over $1,500 out of pocket) and now this! It's just not been the best of days for me. But thanks for letting me vent!

I hold very slim hope that it will happen

so i talk to BIL last night and They like the idea of March to since he lost so much work when he cut off his finger

so looks like March it will be


a few days on site
and a week at the house

maybe it will end up being a better trip in the end

except I won't get to see Liz Kim and Kelli

Work is gonna be rough today. I am sooooo tired! I don't do well without sleep. But I'll just tell myself all day...sleep is over-rated, sleep is over-rated, sleep...would sure be nice - ooops, sleep is over-rated!

Kayla - I'm sorry it's looking like the Dec. trip is off. Truthfully, I'd rather go in March than December. And with the weather up there in December you may have snow that could screw up your plans to leave at the last minute! (Guess it still could in March, but less likely!) And it's only three months more to wait. But by March your DH will be fully recovered and be able to enjoy himself more, too!

I hope you guys get good news today about the MRI and maybe it isn't as bad as the doctor thought/thinks!

Yeah they (men) seem to always have an issue with thier timing. Umm - Can you please put your game on hold, seeing how we are losing all the food in the refrigerator????? I mean it doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure that one out.
