We just ordered pizza to be delivered! I called Papa John's and we went through the whole list of specials then ordered. Then she tells me to hold on, then some guy gets on and was soooooo rude and says they don't deliver "this far out of town!!!" I questioned him again because we have it delivered to my other job 1/2 a mile away all the time and he said, "I told you we don't deliver out there!" And he hung up!! What the..... We're 3.5 miles from Papa Johns!!!

So then I called Pizza Hut - got more pizza for less $$$$, they will deliver here and they were nice.

So then I called Papa John's back! I asked for the manager and verified that they didn't deliver out here and he said no, that it's just past the cut-off. I told him that was not a problem, however, I explained that the other man was so rude that it was really bothering me because there was just no excuse. I told him that I really felt that with his attitude he figured I was just a camper here at the campground and so what if he was rude to a tourist since they probably won't be back anyway. I explained that I was a local and the problem wasn't about the delivery area but with the way that I was treated and he's lost a lot of business because of this!! He apologized and said that if I would be willing to come to pick my order up he would give it to me free. Too bad I can't go get it! I told him that I had already called Pizza Hut and my pizza would be here shortly so thank you anyway. But he did say he would deal with the employee.

I got the iron that I have when I got married...23 years ago! Still looks almost new!

I JUST bought my very first ironing board (at 30-10 years old!!!!)

Used to iron (!?!) on the kitchen counter or, for "fine washables" (?!?), on the Family Room carpet!!!

Best thing that EVER happened to me was DH becoming a Fire Fighter cuz those uniforms come out of the dryer all newy and un-wrinkly looking, just like MAGIC!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Who am I trying to kid here??? This from the gal who still cannot thread a stinkin' needle!!! Or peel a potato!!!!! Oh, I could go on and on and on......
