I JUST bought my very first ironing board (at 30-10 years old!!!!)

Used to iron (!?!) on the kitchen counter or, for "fine washables" (?!?), on the Family Room carpet!!!

Best thing that EVER happened to me was DH becoming a Fire Fighter cuz those uniforms come out of the dryer all newy and un-wrinkly looking, just like MAGIC!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Or you can just do what I do when MY parent's visit (they live around the CORNER!!!! Do you not feel my PAIN!!!).............have a nap and then hit the computer for a bit of DISanity!!!!!

My parents lived across the street from us for 9 years, until we moved at thanksgiving. Now they come "up" to visit us on the weekends, and I stop by after work during the week. I totally understand!!!

My DH and I have actually moved towns (not 'because' of them ) 3, yes, 3 TIMES, and within a year or two...ta-dah "Dad and I have decided to sell the house and move a LITTLE closer to you guys"
