I have a small update on DH's job thing...I guess since it is time for personel reviews and such, the guy doing the job thing is really busy and hasn't done anything yet on the position....so he thought in 2 weeks he would be done with the reviews and could focus on this. DH seemed so excited and happy, I think he really wants it.

Lyn - I have to tell you how AMAZED my in-laws were last night when I read the message that you said "Aloha".

Them - How did she know we were here?
Me - Umm - I told her....
Them - How did you do that?
Me - I am chatting with her now.
Them - How in the world are you talking to her?
Me - Thru the internet.
Them - Wow. That is amazing that you are talking with her in Hawaii.
Me - Yep I do it just about everyday or and by the way she is at work.

Sometimes I have to catch myself. We went to my parents last night and my Dad's sister and two of her grandsons are visiting. I was about to tell DH your story about Ash playing poker....then I thought, how am I going to explain this to my aunt

I just don't think they understand how or what you can do on the internet. It is so unknown to them. Getting her to learn to send a picture with and e-mail is a feat in itself.

From what we heard over a dozen people applied for the job (some from outside the company) and less than half were qualified for it (but DH made the cut ) and so when the guy gets done with the reviews (which are very important since the people he reviews have their raises tied into the review) then he can do interviews for this job.

Oh man, I just got an e-mail from our local airline with $99 fare to the west coast this week!!!!!!!!!!
