I've been feeling guilty 'cause this summer is the first time they've spent so much time alone with me working more hours and DH working a lot of overtime. But we've talked to them about it and they seem fine with it and they seem to enjoy having the independence. So, I guess I shouldn't be feeling as guilty but...

Oh Kathy!! They are getting older, and I'm sure they are enjoying the independence! I remember I was sooo happy when my mom started letting me stay home alone and they are such great boys the will make sure AJ is fine!

Thanks! I remember when I was 12 and 13 I always loved being home alone. So I guess I shouldn't feel guilty. And so far they haven't gotten into any trouble (at least not that we've found out about ). I do feel comfortable with leaving A.J. because they both look out for him so much!

well, they are not alone, they have each other and that is three of them. that is great news about your DD....since we have plenty of time for her, we can practice on planning Tracy's wedding and then when she is ready we will be all set to go for her
