DS is doing well...it is healing nicely, but we are still trying to keep it clean and dry until it is done healing

They moved him out of CCU

and yesterday had him up and walking around

they still aren't talking about sending him home yet

That sounds really good. It is probable best for him that they don't send him home yet.

she was going to end up in the Hospital too trying to take care of him

he needed Real medical treatment and it just took a bit to get that point across to the right people
