Even though everyone's gone I have to share what happened tonight. I know you all read back.

It really made me feel good about people in general!
I was heading over to the campground because John (our friend that owns the campground) was going to check out our trailer hitch and the lights and put in the ball that's needed.
On the way over there I passed the U-haul place and noticed a patrol car there. So, I turned around to see if it was DH and it was. He was looking at the different sizes of the trailers through the fence. It was 7:30 and they had closed at 7:00 but he just wanted to get an idea of the different sizes.
The owners live in the back part of the office (one of those 1/2 business, 1/2 home types). They asked if DH needed help and he just said that we were just looking and that we would be by tomorrow to get one. Well, I had called earlier and the man asked me if I was the one that called and I said yes. He remembered that I had said we would have to have the van hitch and lights checked out and that we would need to have a ball put on. Well, he goes in the office and comes back out with this wire thing and walks over to the van, which was still running. He reaches in and put the lights and hazard lights on and they lays down on the concrete and tests the trailer hitch lights!!!! Can you believe it?!?! And then he looks at the rest of the tow package and tells us not to worry about the ball, he has one that he'll loan us and he'll put it on for us when we come by to pick up a trailer tomorrow!!!

I really restores your faith in human nature, doesn't it!?!?
