I think I will have a pepsi at lunch though....good news is that my Mom is doing really well and wants to go back to work on Monday

WOW!! That thread made me realize I am an EVIL sister!! Andie is 9, and she has a tv, dvd/vcr, computer and her own cell phone! WHY!!! HOW COULD I BUY HER THE THINGS SHE WANTS!!!! how could I give a kid who has always made good grades, who is in the 3rd grade but reads on a 8th/9th grade reading level and who has never gotten in serious trouble in school b4 the things she wants I better just lock myself in the closet and never come out!

I think she may be better off at work...I think that now she is feeling better and stronger she is getting bored and they really need her at work, so I think she enjoys being wanted/needed. Also, she works at a doctor's office/medical building...so that part is good. Until recently, I would say noway, she was way too weak...but now she is eating bland, but normal food. They were already calling her at home to come back so I am glad she stayed out this week too and didn't give in too soon

My heart started beating like SUPER FAST today because...

I am so relieved...for a while I wasn't sure if...well, you know...so I am just happy she is o.k. In the end, one of the doctors thought she had a bacterial infection in there that caused the problems and damage, even though the test had some back negative.
