anything new with the schools?

we had a really long, heart-felt talk yesterday with the director and saw the aide. I honestly think that this will bring about positive changes...so we will see. They were going to start implementing some changes in supervision and discipline there, so maybe next week we will send DD and see how things are. I think she misses school, she really likes it there...her teacher is great, most our problems were with the boys and DSes (the older) class....and as far as DS, if he wants to go back and misses it he can, but as of now he doesn't want to go back so we will keep him at Mama's, until he starts K if that is what he wants....You know how they say that the grass isn't always greener on the other side of the fence? the more I was looking at other schools and inquiring with other parents, the more I think the school isn't bad, it was just a couple bad apples in the class (which they are supposed to address) and very bad mistake made...I think the aide was too busy to know where the pee went and didn't take the time she needed to take...you could tell she was worried and felt awful about it.

tonight is my last night off for 4 days.. and they called to see if I would come in tonight. I told them no... I am already scheduled 30 hours this week. As much I like the extra $$, I need a little time with DH too.

You sure have a long two weeks. When it rains it pours, doesn't it. Is DS getting over the incident okay? I know he was really upset about what happened.

Last night DS was talking about the boy again a little..so I comforted him and told him that he did nothing wrong and that we talked to the teachers and they were sorry for what happened and they were talking to the boy's mom...other than that, all is well...he is enjoying being with Mama...maybe a little too much

I think she may be better off at work...I think that now she is feeling better and stronger she is getting bored and they really need her at work, so I think she enjoys being wanted/needed. Also, she works at a doctor's office/medical building...so that part is good. Until recently, I would say noway, she was way too weak...but now she is eating bland, but normal food. They were already calling her at home to come back so I am glad she stayed out this week too and didn't give in too soon

Learned about Australia. They had a dinner and than a guy that was from Austraila who played the things that Dundee did in the movie.
