how is your Mom doing and did you talk to Dsis about stepping up and helping

thanks...I feel like I am always so negative and always venting but it just sucks right now. I try to take care of her girls when I can....but I can only do so much....and I always put my family first...being here with you helps so much :grouphug

You are not always negative and venting here is something we all do

that is what we are here for

Today is opening day for Baseball!!! Let's go 'Stros!!! I have to hate Bert today, he's at the game right now and I have to watch it on tv

Gotta love baseball season

not sure how things will go this year

alot of my Red sox are wearing different uniforms this year

but I will still support the Boston Boys like I have every year since I was 8

She has given birth to two child but has never been a Mother to either one.

I am still reading back so i haven't gotten to any update if you posted

how is your Mom doing and did you talk to Dsis about stepping up and helping

My Mom was looking better this afternoon when I went to see her...after I finished work. When I got there she was standing up and brushing her hair...which I thought was a huge step forward. Other than going to the bathroom, I hadn't seen her choose to stand for days

Looks like she will be home tomorrow...so I may try and check in on her in the morning, before work again. She must be feeling better, she is going to try and set up one of the nice nurses with my 1st cousin

I am just worried about when she goes home...but on the good side, she is taking off of work for two weeks and plans on resting. I looked at her diet list today, so tomorrow night I am going to take over some of my freezer cooking that she can eat (like mashed potatoes and brocolli soup) so that she just needs to heat it up...other than that, I don't think there is much more I can do.

I feel really bad that other people on the LTP have family/in-law problems too, but it is nice to know I am not alone

well Brandon did really good in school this afternoon! One little boy in his class ran up to me after school, before I had even seen Brandon, and said "Brandon is my new best friend!" That is so great :

He had a little moment her at home doing homework, but other than that it was good

wow.. our school doesn't get out till the first Friday in June.

and ours not till June 22 or 23 or something like that

DH apologized for his BS reaction yesterday morning said he was jsut tired

well that is no excuse i told him

HE picked the new job
He decided on the hours
HE can "adjust" his schedule
the girls and i already have a weird schedule when you compare it to other familys

so i guess all is well here again

I hope so too....I think she understand how serious her condition is...I am hoping that my DSis just ignores her and leaves her alone, as sad as that sounds and that my Mom doesn't feel the need to clean up or anything...she knows she is welcome here, but I can't force her to come...I only live a couple miles from her house...but you would think it is another planet

Kelli seems like just the sweetest person...she could pass as Sleeping Beauty with her golden hair and kind disposition....I just think it is SOOOOOOOOOOOO FUUUUUNNNNNNNNNNNYYYYY that we label her as a person with a closet full of weapons
