She's become a real nervous Nelly and I think that the voiding cystogram is going to be a terrible experience for her. I'm going to let her take a stuffed animal with her so she has something to hold. Does that sound like a good idea or does it sound like I'm treating her like a baby since she is almost 8.

No, I don't think the pics would convince my husband. And as pretty as it is I'd miss the mountains too much!

I'm glad you said this - I will definitly encourage her to take a stuffed animal to hold and cuddle during her tests

The loss of modesty will be bad for her - I'm sure she'll feel embarrassed to have someone poking her where they don't belong.
