I hope it doesn't happen this time but when you look back in racing history
if someone dies during a racing season it tends to be more than just the one

dale earnhardt and oh i feel stupid the other guy

I personally don't have one currently. Before Stephanie was born I would go to races and spend all of May down at Indianapolis with Kevin and his best friend - I was really into it then.

Now, I don't have time to follow it, but Kevin is the ultimate fan - you should see our basement. I should charge admission before anyone enters His all time favorite driver is AJ Foyt. His favorite driver now - I don't know I'll have to ask him over dinner tonight.

We love racing unfortunaly with the kids and all
we have never been in a postion to go to a race have to live thru the TV
but I amhoping to surprise DH with a trip to a track for our 15th wedding anniversary next year
that or a trip to NC to see some of the race shops
or maybe both

Going back even farther - the year Allen Kluwicki (sp?) died it was 2 other drivers too. Dale Earnhardts best friend (his name escapes me) and another stock care driver (His name escapes me too, but I can see his face - I hate it when that happens).

Stephanie, my oldest, is starting to ask when she can go to a race - but she's not ready yet. We may take her this May to Indianapolis to Time-Trials so she can see the cars for herself. There's nothing like the sound of an Indy Car going around The Indianapolis Motor Speedway

I hope you are able to plan that trip for your anniversary - you guys would love it!!!

and Davy allison died (he was my favorite driver )
and friend of mine worked with him
he died right around the time my DD was born

and Earnhardts friend was Neil Bonnet I think??

Yes you are right.

I knew the one drivers name was Dave, David, or something like that. As soon as I read Davy Allison I said, "that's the name!!!!"

Kevin really like Allen Kluwicki and was sad when he died.
