Update on Jess

New Dr is wonderful
couldnt' belive all the old Dr had done was blood work

Jessicas reflex are not working properly
she is going for a EMG tomorrow


The Dr kept saying WHY haven't they sent her to a neurologist
why haven't they gotten her a tutor
why did they not do this this that this or that

Jess said it was such a relief to be belived
and taken seriously

Jess is so scared that something is seriously wrong

I am trying to keep the positive side showing but
honestly at night when it's quiet and no one can see me
I am terrified for her too

Thanks for letting me vent here

oh and the other good news is this new Dr immediatly filled out the paper work the others wouldn't so Jess now can have a homebound tutor
and she can get caught up on school work

Good Morning!

I'm up early....our new family room carpet is being installed today but before it gets here I have to finish emptying out the family room. Oh, what a mess! 16 years worth of **** in there.

I know what you mean. I haven't seen Lyn around in a little while. Hope all is okay with her and her family.

I've been thinking about her / worrying too!

And I know KimGA hasn't been around in a little while either. I hope all is going good with her Son coming home from Boot Camp.

I think he was going to be staying with her for a week and then a week in WI so I bet she's been busy with him.

I hope they've had a great visit.

.... really in dire need of prayers here......remember I talked about my DB, who is a diabetic, with the problem with his toe?? It's going on 11 weeks now - the wound and infection is in his toe. He has been on MAJOR intravenous meds for about 5 weeks now and in a hyperbaric chamber every day [for an hour] for the last month but his toe is STILL infected. He will find out in less than 2 weeks if:
a) the infection is in the tip of the bone in his toe, they will cut off the whole toe
b) the infection in in his entire toe, they will cut off his foot, to about the ankle
c) the infection has reached the foot, they may cut off to below his knee!

...I am really upset over this; he is only in his mid 40's......

Oh, Kim!!! I'm so sorry! Of course I will keep you and your DB in my prayers!

Please keep us posted!!

I had an EMG done last winter. Is she worried/scared about it? It's really no big deal so if she is worrying tell her not to.

I am so excited about getting the new carpet! When we moved in here (almost 17 years ago! ) one of the first things we planned to do was get new carpeting. Now, almost 17 years later we're finally getting it!

What a job! And yesterday the boys helped to box stuff up which means it will take me twice as long to unbox and find stuff! What an accumulation! - So I really should be doing that and not sitting here talking! (Can your tell I'm procrastinating?? )

She is worried
she is picturing something like a bunch of shots all over her body
and to her shots hurt
