The Cardiologist says that it is an innocent one but still freaks me out.

Our neighbor is selling his house for close to $300,000. I am like NO WAY! And he has people interested.![]()
Our probelm is we can afford it sell but not buy. No way to I want to be house poor. And that is what would happen if we sold our house now.
We would have to rent until the Market bubbles pops and than buy. NO THANKS!!!

Mom2Ashli said:Kathy it is really crazy down here for housing right now. And everyone is putting condos on every corner possible.
eeyoresmountainpals said:We had a waterfront house (canal) over near Treasure Island. I checked the transactions on the house....we sold it in 1989, it sold in 1990 for $190,000. They didn't make much, if anything, when they sold it 'cause when they bought it from us they completely gutted the kitchen and did a lot of other MAJOR renovations so I doubt they made any money on it. Then it sold in 1991 for $220,000 and then it sold in 1996 for $370,000!!!!! The property taxes (without homestead) are almost $13,000!!!
I wouldn't even consider selling yours and moving right now unless you had to!
eeyoresmountainpals said:It's starting to get that way here. But for now they've stopped the condos and multi-family dwelling from going up because they don't have the water supply!
I guess I can't compalain about property costs. Ours has more than quadrupled since we moved here in 1991. Of course, we've done major work to the house.

Just practicing on a crappy tuba. The guy in the chair above me decided to play the tuba I was using instead of the one he had, and since we use school instruments, and he is the higher chair, I had to give it to him. So now I am practicing to challenge him and get my tuba back.

She has only spent one night away from me at a time and it has only been like 3 or 4 times.
