I can't wait for next Dec cause I get to go to WDW but
I also really hate winter and don't want to rush the summer away


Kathy have you guys decided are you going to WDW or Niagra falls

Kathy My DH know how yours feels
he has been waiting to build our back deck but every time he sets a day
we have bad weather

then some really nice weather when he and BIL are working so they can't work onthe deck

frustrating for them

the weather is always the best when you are working, sick, or sleeping!!!

I hope that you both get nice weather soon to do your projects.

Nope! We've also thrown in two other choices to consider.....

We're considering getting Dollywood season passes (again) and just make day trips and maybe one trip over there for a few nights.

-OR-

No summer vacation.

DH really wants to get his greenhouse up and running so we may just skip vacation this summer. The boys are okay with it. We would just do a lot of day stuff around here (fishing, camping, etc.)

too many choices

we do the skip a vacation everyother year
that makes it possible to really have the money to enjoy WDW when we go and get some stuff done around here

I can sympathize! Every day DH works lately has been beautiful! He worked last night and works again tonight so he has to sleep today...and it's beautiful out!

We did go through the same thing when he was trying to build our deck. It seemed like it took forever.

2-1/2 to 3 hours.

We've had season passes for about the last 5 years for Dollywood and Dolly's Splash Country (water park). We didn't use our passes all that much last year. Seems like the boys were tiring of it.

Yeah, the boys are at an age where they're content around here. And we are close to a lot of places that we can make day trips to. The Blue Ridge Parkway runs right through our county. We're close to a lake and part of the Cherokee National Park. And there are a few caves in VA we want to explore. So, who knows.

Yeah, the boys are at an age where they're content around here. And we are close to a lot of places that we can make day trips to. The Blue Ridge Parkway runs right through our county. We're close to a lake and part of the Cherokee National Park. And there are a few caves in VA we want to explore. So, who knows.

I Love that area. We were in Ringold (sp?) GA/ chattanooga (sp?) and did some day trips upto and around some of these areas.
